The FV43U may not offer a great deal when it comes to stand ergonomics, but it makes up for it in picture quality and general responsiveness. It features a crystal clear 4K screen resolution alongside an equally impressive 144Hz refresh rate and low 1ms response time (MPRT). Gaming on this thing is incredibly immersive thanks to a combination of specifications geared towards responsiveness and its large 43-inch panel size.

Furthermore, to allow users to reap the full rewards of all the PS5s features, the FV43U also comes equipped with HDMI 2.1 support allowing gamers to enjoy 4K gaming at 120Hz refresh rate. Whilst the OSD may look a little old school, it offers up a tonne of features all geared towards increasing your gaming experience. Whilst the XV282K does offer Vesa DisplayHDR 400 certification, HDR content isnt the most impressive on this panel. HDR 400 is the entry-level standard for high dynamic range, so it comes as no surprise. As many know, LG is easily one of the biggest names in the game, providing some of the best monitors the market has to offer. The 27GP950 is another fine example of the quality LG provides, offering up everything you could want for a stunning visual experience.

Again, this monitor provides a UHD 4K screen resolution, low 1ms response time (GTG w/ overdrive), and Vesa DisplayHDR 600 certification. Alongside that though, users will benefit from the new Nano IPS panel found at the heart of this monitor, equipped with stunning color accuracy and high peak brightness that make for a decent HDR experience. Utilize the monitors VRR technology to benefit from a smooth and artifact-free gaming experience that is hard to beat. It offers support for both FreeSync (Premium) and G-Sync systems, great for users that want a 2-in-1 monitor for both console and PC gaming.

The LG 27GP950 retails for $750, making it one of the cheapest options in this guide. For me, that is easily the best value for money on offer, putting it high on our list of considerations for any PlayStation 5 gamer.

The LG OLED48C1PUB is the only panel in this guide that comes equipped with OLED technology, offering self-lit pixels that provide truly stunning image quality. The pixels in the LG OLED48C1 can turn off independently, helping to create true blacks that cant be replicated by lesser panel technologies. If youre looking for a big screen experience that is great for gaming, movies, and everyday use, look no further LG have you covered.

That being said, OLED does come with its downsides one of which is the price. Whilst well touch upon price a bit more later, know that this TV is the most expensive option in this guide. Having said that, it still offers up excellent value for money when everything is considered.

The LG OLED TV comes equipped with HDMI 2.1 support, a 120Hz refresh rate, and low >1ms response time pairing together for a tear-free gaming experience that is void of smearing, blurring, and other annoying screen artifacts. The low response time ensures that ghosting is to an absolute minimum when playing fast-paced games, with the refresh rate helping to create smooth visuals as well.

The 48 TV isnt the biggest in this guide, but it is the best in terms of color reproduction and contrast ratio. For many games, OLED technology will be wasted better utilized for high-definition movies and Tv shows. Having said that, gaming still looks absolutely fantastic.

Like all OLED products, the LG 48 C1 does run the risk of permanent burn-in if left on a still image. That being said, burn-in is becoming less problematic, especially when services now offering anti-burn features.

Finally, we have the ASUS ROG STRIX XG43UQ a large screen gaming panel that is another final example of ASUSs high-end build quality and performance. Whilst this may look more like a TV than a gaming monitor, lets not take anything away from its performance it really does offer everything you could want for an excellent console gaming experience.

The ROG STRIX XG43UQ is one of the latest monitors to come out of the ASUS arsenal, equipped with all the high-end features you could want including variable OD, FreeSync premium, ELMB, and a tonne of additional gaming features.

Features aside, raw performance is where this monitor truly shines. It provides a 144Hz refresh rate and low response time which, when paired together, offer up a smooth gaming experience that is void of screen artifacts like tearing, smearing, and ghosting. The VA panel in this monitor is almost identical to the Gigabyte FV43U, offering up a wide color gamut that covers 90% of the DCI-P3 space, 4000:1 native contrast ratio, and Vesa DisplayHDR 1000 certification. With a 4K screen resolution, this monitor offers up excellent picture quality that is on par with the other big-screen gaming panels in this guide.

The only real downside to this panel is the price tag it falls into the $1200 price pool which, you guessed it, puts it in direct competition with the OLED gaming TV.
