After the playlist has been created, right click on it in the sidebar and choose the option for a “Collaborative Playlist”.

If the process was successful, the new collaborative playlist will be denoted by a small circle seen just above the playlist’s name in your sidebar that looks something like this: .

How to Delete a Playlist on Spotify?

If you’ve grown tired of a particular playlist, you can simply remove it from your library. It takes just a few simple steps to edit your account. Here’s how to delete a playlist on Spotify:

1. Open the desktop app on your computer.
   
2. Locate the playlist in the library on the left-hand side and click on it. Then click on the three tiny dots in the top-right corner.
   
3. A small pop-up menu will appear. Choose “Delete” from the list of options.
   
4. Click “Delete” once more to complete the process.
   

You can also access Spotify from your web browser. Sign in to your account and repeat the same steps on the web player website. The following browsers allow you to delete a playlist from Spotify:

• Microsoft Edge
  
• Mozilla Firefox
  
• Google Chrome
  
• Safari
  
• Opera
  

However, with this method, you can only delete the playlists from your account. Spotify stores all shared playlists on its server. That means even if you’ve removed them from your library, they’re still available to the other subscribers and followers of that playlist.

If you don’t want your followers to access a specific playlist, you have to remove all the tracks manually. Here’s how to do it:

1. Go to your library and click on the shared playlist.
   
2. Press “Shift” and highlight all the tracks.
   
3. Right-click to open a drop-down menu.
4. Choose “Delete” from the list of options.
   
5. To turn the playlist into a divider, rename it to “-“after you cleared all the tracks.

How to delete Spotify playlists on a computer

1. Open Spotify on your PC or Mac.

2. In the left sidebar, click on the playlist you want to delete.

3. Click on the three dots [...] underneath the playlist's title to open its options menu.

4. Click "Delete" and click it again to confirm.

How to delete Spotify playlists on a mobile device

1. Open Spotify and tap "Library."

2. Open the playlist and tap the three dots ["..."] to open the options menu. On an iPhone, these dots will be below the playlist's title. On an Android, they'll be in the top-right corner.

3. Tap "Delete" and tap it again to confirm.
