Which is better iPhone 6 Plus or 8?
Both devices have Retina HD displays, 3D Touch and a 12 MP camera, for example. However, given that there's three whole generations between the two devices, iPhone 8 inevitably pulls ahead of the iPhone 6s Plus. The 64-bit A11 Bionic processor of iPhone 6 Plus leaves the A9 that power iPhone 6s plus way behind.
Is iPhone 6 or 8 better?
Judged purely on the specs, iPhone 8 is a better device than iPhone 6s. However, iPhone 6s is still a great phone and some will prefer its classic look, 3mm headphone jack and more modest price.
Is the iPhone 8 Plus camera better than the 6s?
Both the 6s Plus and 8 Plus feature 12-megapixel rear cameras with optical image stabilization, though there's a significant difference in aperture. Whereas the 6s Plus is rated at f/2.2, the 8 Plus benefits from a larger, f/1.8 lens, which is especially important for dark scenes, as it allows more light in.
Is it worth buying iPhone 8 Plus now?
The iPhone 8 and 8 Plus are both still solid phones worth buying in 2022. Purchasing an iPhone 8 in 2022 lets you spend less money.
