In this how-to video, our spokesmonkey Ezriah Zippernowsky demonstrates how to convert a zip file to jpg. This example uses a png file but the same steps apply to jpg files.

How to convert zip to jpg file?

Here are the steps to convert the archive into JPG file(s) using ezyZip:

1. To select the zip file, you have two options:

   • Click "Select zip file to convert" to open file chooser

     
   • Drag and drop the zip file directly onto ezyZip
   
   It will list all the JPG files in the ZIP archive.
   
   

2. Click the green "Save" button to save individual jpg file to your local drive.
   Click the blue "Preview" button to open the jpg in your browser.

   

How do I save all converted JPG files into a folder?

1. First follow the instructions above

2. Click on "Save All". If the button is disabled, it means your browser does not support this feature or it is not enabled.
   
   In Chrome, you can enable it by toggling following setting:

   chrome://flags/#native-file-system-api
   (copy/paste it into your browser address bar)

   
   
   

3. Select an empty folder where you wish to extract the files. Please note: If you already have files with the same name, ezyZip WILL OVERWRITE THEM.

   
   
   

4. After you have selected the folder, the browser will ask for permission to access it. Click on "View files" followed by "Save changes".

   
   
   
   
   
   

5. It will then commence saving files and subfolders into the target you specified

   

How do I convert zip to jpg in Dropbox?

1. Click on the Dropbox logo () in the zip file selector button.

   
   
   
   
   
   

2. The Dropbox file chooser will appear. You will need to authorise access to ezyZip the first time.

3. Once you have selected the zip file, it will download it to your browser and show the contents.

4. To save the jpg files to Dropbox, click on "Dropbox" dropdown under the "Save" or "Save All" buttons. You will need to authorise Dropbox for ezyZip the first time you do it.
   
   Files will be saved in /Apps/ezyZip folder.

How do I view jpg images in a zip file?

First you need to open the zip archive as per file extraction instructions above. You will then receive a list of all jpg files inside the zip archive. Scroll down the list and click 'Preview' to view the jpg image in another browser window.
