We are just a few days away from MasterChef Australia Season 14. Everyone’s favourite cooking competition show will bring back our favourite trio of judges – Melissa Leong, Andy Allen and Jock Zonfrillo. The upcoming season will have 24 contestants divided into the categories Foodies and Favourites. Show
MasterChef Australia Season 14 is going to be different from what we have seen so far. With the Foodies Vs Favourites format, the show will not only introduce us to passionate new home cooks but also stars from the previous seasons. There will be 12 Foodies and 12 Fan Favourites this season. On their social media pages, MasterChef Australia has revealed the list and faces of the 24 contestants. In the fan favourites, contestants like season 13 contestant Tommy Pham, season 3 contestant Michael Weldon, season 6 contestant Sarah Todd, season 4 contestant Mindi Woods, season 7 contestant John Carasig and several others are included. The Favourites list also includes winners of season 1, season 7 and season 10, Julie Goodwin Sashi Cheliah, and Billie McKay, respectively. In India, the cooking show usually streams on Disney+ Hotstar. However, there is no confirmation yet if the episodes will be available on the digital platform or not. As previously reported, Season 14 will take place in Charleston; now, seven weeks away from the season premiere, Bravo has unveiled that this season will pit eight new contestants against eight veteran contestants from previous seasons. This season’s new contestants are: Silvia Barban (Brooklyn, NY), Emily Hahn (Charleston, SC), Jamie Lynch (Charlotte, NC), Annie Pettry (Louisville, KY), Sylva Senat (Philadelphia, PA), BJ Smith (Portland, OR), Jim Smith (Montgomery, AL), and Gerald Sombright (Marco Island, FL). The eight returning contestants vying for the title of “Top Chef” (and a pile of cash and prizes) this season haven’t yet been unveiled, but stay tuned; in the meantime, feel free to speculate wildly: Michael Voltaggio? Recent Eater Upsell guest Carla Hall? Dale Talde, who just shuttered one of his successful Brooklyn restaurants? Lovable villain Marcel Vigneron? Leah Cohen? Infamous late-night tweeter John Tesar? The pool of possibilities is vast. Per Bravo, notable cameos this season will include Daniel Humm and Will Guidara, Jeremiah Tower, Dominique Ansel, Sean Brock, Michael Solomonov, and Darius Rucker (es, the guy from Hootie and the Blowfish), plus a tribute to Southern culinary legend Edna Lewis. Also new to the show this season: Chicago-based chef and former MasterChef judge Graham Elliot, who will join the judging panel already presided over by Tom Colicchio and Gail Simmons. The moment we've been waiting for. The Top Chef finale is here and only one cheftestant will take the title of Top Chef. It's been quite a season packed with seafood, surprises, and sweaty chefs laboring over their delicious creations. The starting point was Charleston, South Carolina with its rich history and affinity for shrimp, and then the chefs moved south of the border to beautiful Mexico where the competition turned into a DIY adventure full of extremely fresh ingredients and a bit of a lost in translation moment (think Chef Sheldon unsuccessfully hunting for cheese at the market place). Chef Brooke and
Chef Shirley fought hard throughout the competition to make it to this point. Shirley, a fierce competitor from season 11, effortlessly infused her dishes with a story from her Chinese background and Brooke, returning from Season 10, started strong, but fell short toward the end -- only to return to the competition after winning
Last Chance Kitchen. But the season 14 finale is all about family, with the episode featuring several reunions of eliminated cheftestants, loved ones, co-workers, and close friends.

Sign Up for Free to View Chef Brooke rose to the occassion, coming back to the competition, through Last Chance Kitchen, with a different mindset. In an exclusive interview with The Daily Dish, she said the hardest part was watching fellow Chef Sheldon pack up his knives. The two first met in Seattle and instantly fell into a sibling-like relationship. During his elimination, Brooke told Bravo what was running through her mind, "I just felt like ‘no, it’s not your time to go.’ My rock, the guy I could lean and talk to about anything was just taken away from me, and it was a really a hard time for that to happen." Luckily, Brooke got to reconnect with Sheldon, and even select him as a sous chef, for the finale cookoff. When it came to serving a restaurant full of people, for the dessert option, Brooke chose flan for a particular reason. The cheftestant shared in the episode that her mother would make the treat every time she would visit. Brooke's take was to add aged rum and chamomile with candied cashews to celebrate the bond with her mother. Meanwhile, Shirley has been serving up a story with dishes since the beginning. She has been heavily influenced by her Asian background and has infuse this style into many of her dishes. Shirley's heartwarming tales from her childhood eats and their inspiration no doubt propelled her this far to the finale. And the last meal was no exception.

Sign Up for Free to View Shirley created a menu prior to the meal that was "filled with my favorite food memories I made with my loved ones," judge Gail Simmons read outloud before tasting
each of the chef's four dishes. Shirley also got to serve her mom and sister, with the former saying she was proud of "beautiful, Shirley." Her rice pudding was inspired by her mother's sweet tooth and philosophy to finish every grain of rice with the dish appropriately named on the menu as "Mama said 'always finish your rice.'"

With all the love, it was surprising that the two cheftestants could still compete. Whose inspiration won the judges' over to claim the title of Top Chef?
