Here’s how to enable or disable chat heads in the Facebook messenger app on Android devices. When you receive any message, you can see the bubble with your friend’s name that will pop up on your android phone home screen. So you can directly view and reply from the home screen without open the Facebook messenger app. To move chat head just tap & hold it and move your finger and if you want close the notification bubble on the home screen then drag the bubble to the bottom of the X screen to close them.

You can turn on chat heads of your Facebook messenger app contact, just tap on hold that contact and tap on open chat heads. How to Enable or Disable Chat Heads on Facebook Messenger App on Android device

Steps to open or create chat head on Facebook messenger app in your android device

Disable Facebook Messenger Chat Heads on Android in 2020

Step 1: Open the Facebook Messenger app.

Step 2: Tap on the Profile icon at the top of the corner.

By default enabled chat heads.

Step 3: Scroll down and toggle off Chat Heads toggle under the preferences section.

Step 1: Open the Facebook Messenger app.

Step 2: Tap & hold any friend name you want to use chat head.

Step 3: Tap Open Chat head (You can see this option if enabled chat heads in your phone).

Step 4: Go to the home screen and you can see the Bubble icon.

Turn Off Facebook Messenger Bubble Notifications From Home Screen

Tap & hold the notification bubble and move it to the “X” icon at the bottom middle of the screen.

Older Facebook Messenger Version

Step 1: Open the Facebook Messenger app.

Step 2: Tap & hold any contact want to open chat head on your android phone or tablet home screen.

Step 3: Tap on Open chat head.

Now you can see the above screen on your android phone screen.

Enable or Disable Facebook Messenger Chat Heads on Android

Step 1: Open the Facebook Messenger app.

Step 2: Tap on Settings in a top right side corner.

By default turn on or enable chat heads on your Facebook messenger.

 Step 3: Uncheck the box of Chat Heads.

That’s all. Turn off the chat heads on your Facebook messenger app

You can close the chat head of your home screen to drag the bubble to the bottom of the X screen. It only removes pop up chat head from your android phone home screen.
