The Sims 3[]If pregnant Sims don't want to give birth at home, they will go to the hospital when it's time to deliver their baby. This is where Sims can get a job in the Medical Career or get medical advice, for a fee. This is one of the properties players can partner with and own in The Sims 3 and gives the biggest long-term payoff from revenue. Generally, a hospital is often combined with a science lab in a multi-purpose rabbit hole. The Sims 4: Get to Work[]Hospital is a special lot assignment in The Sims 4: Get to Work, accessible for Sims working in the doctor career and for pregnant Sims who are going into labor (with up to one companion). There is only one hospital in the game, which is located in the Civic Center sub-neighborhood. The lot assignment can't be given to other lots without mods, so they are not available anywhere else. The Urbz: Sims in the City[]Sims who pass out will wake up in a hospital, where they can sleep and grab food from the vending machines there. If you have the Get to Work expansion pack installed, Sims have the option of travelling to the hospital in order to have their baby. Once the Sim is in labour, select the self-interaction 'Have Baby at Hospital' and choose any Sims you wish them to travel with, and they'll go there immediately.
Why is Sims 4 not letting me try for a baby?There is a max of 8 sims. If either of the above is true there will not be an option to try for baby. The same holds true if there is another Sim that is pregnant and that will result in the total reaching 8. (Note that a sim can have triplets).
Why can't I have a baby on Sims?Make sure one Sim can get pregnant and the other Sim can get others pregnant. Check your household size as well; you can only have eight Sims per household, and if you already have eight Sims, you can't have a baby unless someone else dies or moves out.
How does the hospital work in Sims 4?The base game of Sims 4 doesn't have an actual hospital lot, but it offers all the medical processes. In the base game, the hospital is just another “rabbit hole” where your Sims disappear for a couple of hours and days. And just like with schools, you can't see what you're Sims are doing while there.
